Group Tutorial takes place once a week with our team of Progression and Performance Tutors (PPTs) who work alongside your technical subject and English and maths tutors to support you in all aspects of your development and progression.
Group Tutorial is a vital part of the study programme and enables you to gain knowledge and understanding of key aspects on life after College. The PPTs will cover topics around safeguarding, relationships, employability, sustainability, health and wellbeing along with raising aspirations. They will also support you whilst you settle in at the start of College, in the early weeks and beyond. Your tutor will also provide guidance and support your progression from College to your next steps along with your curriculum tutors, whether that’s to the next level of study, university or into employment.
You will benefit from one-to-one reviews to help you identify and work through any potential barriers that may be preventing you from learning and celebrate your successes and achievement at college.
A key focus of Group Tutorial is to educate you as students to know how to safeguard yourself in modern Britain.
