What financial support is available to me?

What is the Discretionary Bursary and how can it help me?

The Discretionary Bursary is a government-allocated fund to help students aged 16-18 on a low income with their actual costs of participating.

The Discretionary Bursary may be able to help with travel, essential kit, uniform, compulsory UK trips that are essential to your study programme and books for your programme.

If your household income is below £32,000 you can apply for financial support in the form of a Discretionary Bursary. If your household income is between £32,000 and £34,000, you can apply for financial support for travel only.
