What will I learn?
Developing and growing a business, either as an owner or an employee, requires a broad set of skills and attributes.
Our Business Administration apprenticeships provide the solid grounding in business essentials from producing spreadsheets, to legislation and marketing. You’ll also learn those all-important communication and teamwork skills that are vital to any business.
Accounting apprenticeships (accredited by AAT), will hone your skills in preparing accounts, calculating costs and revenues, taxation and professional ethics.
If you're a Human Resources apprentice (accredited by CIPD), you will either focus on HR Support at Level 3, or qualify as a Consultant/Business partner at Level 5.
All of our programmes are taught by experienced business professionals and you will be given all of the support and guidance you need to complete your Business Admin apprenticeship and enhance your long term employability.
How will I be assessed?
Your dedicated training officer will assess most of your learning in your workplace. English and maths are also part of your study programme, and you will study both at a level which is appropriate to you.
What will I get from a Business Admin apprenticeship?
- A nationally recognised qualification
- GCSE in English and maths (dependent on previous level of qualification)
- Relevant and applicable industry experience.
How do I apply for an apprenticeship?
Choose the level of Business Administration apprenticeship that is most appropriate to you from the selection of programmes above. A level 2 apprenticeship is approximately equivalent to GCSE, level 3 to A level and level 4 to degree level. Select “Apply”, register your email address and then complete the required details.
You’ll need to meet set entry requirements, and we’ll invite you in for an interview, and possibly an assessment, depending on the level. But it’s nothing to worry about! We welcome applicants from those who already have an employer willing to sponsor them, as well as helping those looking for employment.

How much do office managers get paid?*
A starting salary for an office manager is on average £18,000-£25,000. As you gain experience you can expect this to increase to £25,000-£30,000. Highly experienced office managers could earn on average £30,000-£35,000 per year. You’ll usually work about 40 hours a week with tasks including preparing reports, managing budgets and developing out quality control processes and hosting visits by clients.

Administrators deal with the vital behind-the-scenes operations and organisation. Efficient and organised business administrators are always in demand. You’ll also learn transferrable skills that can be used in a wide range of industries.
