MidKent College offers an exciting range of practical, technical and professional courses and workshops in partnership with our local schools for pupils aged 14-19.
We believe in giving our students the best possible start to their time at College and often the work to prepare young people for transition can start years before they turn 16. That's why we're committed to working closely with our local schools in Maidstone and Medway and have a dedicated School Partnerships team to give schools simple, hassle-free access to opportunities to engage with the College.
As part of our partnership work, the college offers schools the opportunity to join a weekly carousel which runs sessions throughout the year. The carousel offers tasters in technical and professional subjects for schools who feel their pupils may benefit from studying in a college environment. This give students the opportunity to develop technical and professional skills in preparation for transition to post 16 options.
These sessions are run by our professional, well-qualified tutors who are trained in a number of technical areas including Animal Management, Art & Design, Digital Skills, Hair & Beauty, Motor Vehicle, Music & Performing Arts, Hospitality & Catering and Public Services.
