The Learning Resource Centres located at our Medway and Maidstone Campuses are modern, dynamic, forward-thinking departments totally focused on supporting your learning needs.

In these centres you will find welcoming staff and plenty of textbooks relevant to your course. The LRCs have created resources to support English and maths teaching and also manages a growing collection of e-resources that are available from home as well as on campus.

At the Medway Campus, LRC study space is located on the 3rd floor of the East and West blocks with resources matched to the curriculum areas. At the Maidstone Campus, there is an LRC in A Block and in the Central Block of the UCM building.

In adition to the general resources, each month our LRC team will set up a display to highlight a monthly theme, topic or point of interest - make sure you pop by an LRC to see what's been chosen this month!

There’s ample space for individual or group study, and you can get online using the LRC computers or your own laptop via WiFi. Students are more than welcome to borrow items and our friendly LRC team is always on hand to help you access the resources you need. The LRC staff can also provide bespoke training on Microsoft Office software.

The LRCs provide a total information service, offering:
