Course Description

Do you dream of becoming a make-up artist to the stars of screen or stage? Well dream no more!

This diploma is ideal for those interested in an exciting career in film, TV, stage or other media purposes, and will cover topics including fashion and photographic make-up, how to apply prosthetic pieces and bald caps, how to apply air brush make-up and more.

Practical work experience will also be provided in the College's state-of-the-art beauty salon Pure.

> Your tutor will provide practical demonstrations and support with written, oral and practical work
> You will be assessed throughout the course and will also be required to build a portfolio of evidence
> This is a study programme which includes English, maths and work experience in addition to your main programme

Future Prospects

Successful completion of the course could open the door to a variety of exciting career opportunities, such as working as a make-up artist on a TV show, theatre production or film set. You may also progress on to an HND course or university.

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.
