> Practical techniques will be demonstrated by the tutor along with guidance and support with written, oral and practical work
> Practical assessments will be undertaken in the real working environment of the College salon
> Students will be expected to provide their own models for assessments
> You will be required to wear a salon uniform, which will be discussed at the interview. You will also need to purchase a folder/portfolio and writing material
> Practical, oral and written assessment along with a number of case studies built into a portfolio of evidence
> On successful completion students will be awarded four VTCT NVQ Level 4 units of accreditation

This short course is suited to those who wish to gain new professional higher level skills or update their existing beauty skills, extending their knowledge in this field of non-surgical cosmetic treatments. You need to have good foundation knowledge of the beauty industry and up-to-date practical skills. You need to be working to a high professional standard, have good communication skills and a cheerful disposition.
This will enable students already working in the beauty industry to work in this more specialised area, exploring other career pathways in the industry and thus broadening their client base and increasing their income.
