Course Description

The Level 1 in Entry to the Uniformed Services will give you the foundation skills needed to progress to the level 2 qualification. You will develop your teamwork, communication and leadership skills, as well as develop self discipline.

Our industry experienced lecturers will share more about the different career opportunities available to you, as well as the physical fitness needed! You'll be inspired by industry speakers, as well as have the opportunity to go out into industry.

Other Important Information

All MidKent College students will continue studying English and maths until they are 19, or until they have achieved a Grade C/4. Your study programme will incorporate a work placement in a role relevant to your study and/or a work based project with local employers. All students will have access to a Personal Tutor to support their personal and professional development.

Future Prospects

The aim of this programme is to enable all students to progress to level 2, subject to entry criteria. It will also provide the basic job skills required to help those seeking employment for the first time.

Entry Requirements

A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 2/F or above, including English or maths.
