MidKent College apprentices are celebrating success at the Trades Industries event of the Kent and Medway FE College Skills Competition (KFE4Skills) held at North Kent College, Gravesend Campus on Wednesday 5th March.

The competition tests the skills of rising stars of the construction industry as they compete against other Colleges in timed challenges in their trades.

In Bricklaying, Owen Gravenell, 18, took first place and Ollie Setter, 18, came second in Bricklaying. Both are apprenticed with Roe Brickwork, Margate.

In Painting and Decorating, Mollie Platts, 21, took 1st place. She is an apprentice with Ian Williams Ltd, Tonbridge.
