I am currently employed by MidKent College as a Learning Support Coordinator. My role within the College is to manage the additional support within the Construction and Engineering departments at the Maidstone Campus.
This is now my 14th year of working for the College and although, how we support the students has changed over these years, giving our students the best experience possible has always been my aim and priority.
I have lived in Medway most of my life and work in Maidstone so feel connected and part of both communities. I have always been involved with local charities and am currently a Trustee on the Board of Maidstone Mencap.
By becoming a Governor of MidKent College I feel I have lots to contribute to enable our students to achieve to the best of their ability and to progress onto further training and into their chosen careers.
