Mike worked at BlackRock for many years where he was a member of the UK Equity team and managed investment trusts focused on UK smaller companies. As such he has met the management of many companies in all sectors over the years trying to identify and invest in those with the best long-term prospects.
He is a non-executive director of Invesco Perpetual UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc and Central Asia Metals PLC.
Mike enjoys watching cricket in the UK and internationally, travelling generally, volunteering in the vegetable garden at Sissinghurst Castle, running and walking and generally trying to keep fit, beekeeping, visiting art exhibitions, and being with friends and family.
