Governor
Mo is a senior-level HR professional with experience working across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors at senior management level. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel (FCIPD).
Mo served on the Board of a London based Housing Association that provides housing and related services to vulnerable young women and, additionally, sat on the Remuneration Committee which was a sub-committee of the Board.
Mo works as a director for a care home based in London and the South East and provides strategic leadership in organisational development and employment law. In addition, Mo has designed and implemented HR strategies to develop and manage talent.
Mo joined the board of MidKent College in December 2022 and has previously held senior-level HR positions in the social housing sector where she successfully led on the achievement of several national awards. Mo previously served as an enterprise advisor which supports young people still at secondary school in assessing and accessing potential opportunities for further development or learning.
In her spare time, Mo volunteers in her local church and previously served as a Lay Magistrate in central Kent so is well aware of the impact a good education can have on the life chances of young people. Mo has strong local links having lived for more than 20 years in Maidstone.
Mo has a wicked sense of humour and loves spending time with her family, listening to music, reading and travelling with her group of wild and wacky friends.
