Chris is a dynamic leader with extensive experience in education, business, and community engagement. His passion lies in fostering collaboration and driving positive change.
Chris began his journey at MidKent College as an IT Trainer. Recognising his natural ability to converse with diverse audiences he progressed to lead the business development function and established the college's commercial training arm. He continued to serve the education and skills sector working in various senior executive roles at other colleges across Kent before returning to MidKent College in 2015, where he serves as Deputy CEO.
Alongside, and as part of his work at the College, Chris is a Non-Executive Director at Imago - a nonprofit organisation that supports vulnerable people, promotes social inclusion, and champions local initiatives serving communities across the South East. Chris is also the current Chair of Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce following 15 years of service as a Non-Executive Director. His work at the Chamber combines his passion for education and training, and his determination to help Kent's business community thrive and grow to the benefit of the county's residents.
