The College is closed and will re-open to students on Monday 6 January 2025. We will respond to your emails and voicemails upon our return. Happy holidays 🎄✨

      • A Level students will study three subjects over two years full-time at our Maidstone Campus in the dedicated Sixth Form Centre.

Our supportive lecturers are dedicated to helping you achieve the grades you need in order to progress onto university or employment.

      • Subjects

We recognise that young people already have access to a range of A Level subjects at school sixth forms, so our subject offer is based upon ensuring we provide a broad range of subjects to support a wide variety of pathways for students who have clear destination aims in mind and those who are still deciding on their future goals and want to keep their options open. In either case, the College will discuss your individual subject choices with you, both at the interview and when you start, to ensure that you have chosen appropriate subjects to be successful and to support your individual aims.

Subjects planned for offer at MidKent College for 2024-25 academic year are:

        • Biology
        • Business
        • Chemistry
        • English Language
        • English Literature
        • Film Studies
        • Geography
        • History
        • Law
        • Maths
        • Media
        • Photography
        • Politics
        • Psychology
        • Sociology

The breadth of subjects offered is always based on student demand. Students applying for A Levels should specify which three subjects they would like to study, and we'll discuss these with you at interview.

      • Future prospects for A Level students

A Levels provide a recognised route into higher education and a wide range of career opportunities, including apprenticeships. A higher education course could be your first step to a full degree course at university, offering you increased earning power and career prospects.
