Course Description

In January 2021, CIPD launched a new Profession Map with brand new qualifications to equip Human Resources practitioners with the knowledge, behaviours and values underpinning the profession. We're an accredited centre, and students joining our CIPD programmes in September 2021 will commence the new programmes

Earn while you learn on an apprenticeship with the College! This nationally recognised standard will provide you with the skills, experience and knowledge you need to progress in your chosen career. Your apprenticeship will include a combination of on-the-job training, studying for your qualification at College and maths, English and possibly ICT depending on the framework and any prior GCSEs.

Human resource professionals work in any setting where there are employees and within small, medium and large organisations. They work as part of the HR function delivering frontline support to managers and employees. They will take ownership for providing advice to managers on a wide range of HR issues using company policy and current law, giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.

This apprenticeship is suitable for a variety of HR roles including: HR administrator, HR Advisor and HR Officer.

Other Important Information

The HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship incorporates a Level 3 qualification, which is the equivalent level to Advanced Level and provides the Apprentice with an underpinning understanding of the HR function, alongside practical experience of working in an HR environment. You will study 8 modules including; Personal Development, Business Understanding, and HR Legislation.

Level 3 apprentices are required to register for CIPD membership as part of the apprenticeship qualification. They are only required to purchase course textbooks if their employer opts for them to complete the CIPD standalone qualification

Future Prospects

Upon completion, apprentices will be eligible for Associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
