Course Description

The test is a practical assessment with a short online component, taken over 16.5 hours in total and comprises:
>A1 - Safe Isolation and Risk Assessment (1 hour)
>A - Composite Installation (8.5 hours)
>B - Inspection and Testing (3.5 hours)
>C - Fault Diagnosis (2.5 hours)
>D - Assessment of Applied Knowledge (1 hour online test)

Other Important Information

> We suggest that, to enhance the chance of success in the AM2, attendance at a preliminary intensive revision course should be encouraged about two weeks before sitting the test
> You will be assessed by a series of timed practical assessments and a multiple choice examination

Future Prospects

The AM2 is the end point assessment which helps to contribute towards your level 3 electrical qualification

Entry Requirements

Students must have achieved a pass in the Level 3 Electrical Technical Certificate.
