Course Description

This course allows students to study a broad range of topics within travel and tourism. It will equip them with practical vocational skills such as communication, selling and customer service - as well as studying a variety of other subjects including Worldwide Destinations, UK Destinations, Retail Travel Services, Resort Representatives and Promotional Materials.

Other Important Information

You will learn through case studies, practical activities, group discussions, research and classwork exercises. You will have the opportunity to visit travel and tourism organisations and to take part in day and residential visits.

Future Prospects

All our students could progress to a level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism.

Entry Requirements

You will need either five GCSEs at grade D or above or a full Foundation Learning qualification at level 1, which should include some units at level 2. You will also be required to attend an interview and demonstrate your suitability for this programme.
