Currently we’re setting up computers and putting them in the network and connecting them to the server. My favourite part of the course is definitely all of the practical work that we’ve been doing alongside the theory – it’s been nice to get the experience.
I chose MidKent as not only is it close to me, but I’ve also heard a lot of good things from my friend who came here. I also came to an open day which I found very helpful.
For my work experience I’m planning to do IT support at a company – the College helps a lot with getting work experience placements.
We’ve had to do a few presentations in class to get our confidence up, we do a lot of practical work so we can get used to doing the jobs. We also do a lot of tests to improve our knowledge – it’s been helpful preparing us for the real world.
After this course I would like to go to a university to develop my skills in coding and after that I would like to go into games design.
I would recommend this course to other students.
