We’re learning about traditional photography currently – on Fridays we go to the Medway School of Arts and use the dark room there which is really cool.
My favourite part of the course is definitely the practical stuff like taking pictures as opposed to the theory.
I chose MidKent Collge as it's close to where I live. The facillities are great too! I wanted to get into photography more so I decided that it would be better to go to College and learn more rather than stay on at sixth form. I would definitely recommend this course. I’ve had work experience in the GlassBox theatre photographing the Performing Arts students during their productions.
After this course I’m hoping to continue building my portfolio – I’m not sure if I’m going to go to university. I like a lot of different types of photography which this course is helping me to explore – I’m still deciding which one I like best.
