We’re currently learning about manicures, facials, and we’ve just done waxing. My favourite thing so far has been learning facials – I really enjoyed doing those.
I chose MidKent as I’d done a course here before but a long time ago, I did a hairdressing course and then I did a nail course here as well. I chose this course as I want to be able to do something for myself now, my son is now at College and I want to be able to do something that I want to do.
After this course I would like to progress onto the Level 3 – you have to pass this course first to be able to go onto the next level. Or I’d like to work in a salon and build up my own clientele and do some mobile work.
My tutors have prepared me for a career in the industry – they’re so lovely and very good to us.
I would definitely recommend this course to other students.
