My favourite part about the course is handling the animals and doing the practical work. I also like how the teachers teach biology as I find it very interesting.
My favourite animal is the axolotl. Last year I did work experience as a dog trainer, I trained puppies and elderly dogs. This year I’m working in the Happy Pants farm – I really like it there. I feed the animals, give them enrichment and make sure they’re comfortable.
After this course I want to go to university to study to be a veterinary nurse. My tutors have prepared me for this as they’ve helped me progress from the level one course to level 3. They’ve helped me with assignments.
I would definitely recommend this course to other students.
