I’m currently studying health access for nursing. In class we’re currently learning about biology and the multi skeletal system – we’re looking at muscles and using a chicken wing to pretend it’s an arm to learn about the skeleton to see movement, etc.

We’ve just finished homeostasis, we’ve learnt quite a lot about biochemistry, hormones and everything else that’s involved with that. We also learn about psychology as well.

I really love the course, I find it really interesting, and I love studying and learning – I love psychology, it’s my absolute passion. My tutors have been amazing, everyone’s been great and nothing is ever too much for them.

I chose MidKent College as it provided the course I wanted to do in order to move onto university, it’s right on my doorstep and I get on really well with the people here. It’s really nice, it’s like another home extension as we have a lot to cover at home too – I’m also taking GCSE maths alongside this course.

I feel that my tutors have 100% prepared me for a career in the industry, they’re great at guiding people. After this course I would like to go to university and study to be an adult nurse.

I would 100% recommend this course to other people, it’s quite an intense course but as long as you stay on top of it and enjoy it then I would highly recommend it.

I’m very happy and comfortable here.
