I chose this programme because when I was younger watching Deadly Sixty and this is what I wanted to do! I wanted to find all different kinds of animals. I then saw at the College that they offered Animal Management. I came to the virtual open event as it was during covid and I really loved the fact it was eye catching and it helped me see my future career.

At the moment we are learning about veterinary nursing and then going onto animal human interaction. I really enjoy coming here because of the animals but later on I found out that coming to College has helped me with self-discovery and the people here change me for the better.

The tutors have helped with my progression and the units we have been doing have really helped in deciding what I want to do in the future. The College is nice and close to where I live.

I have completed work experience which was at Kent Owl Academy and it was a great experience that I had. We are attending an aquarium this term so that will help with our aquatics module.

My plan is to complete College and then attend the University of Reading and complete a zoology degree. I want to be able to help with the conservation of animals. I want to be a voice for this and being a zoologist is the best way to do this.

College has helped me to learn lots of transferable skills and I feel that I have made an impact being at College.
