I was in a football scholarship at sixth form and unfortunately it was not for me so I chose Animal Management as it was my second choice after wanting to be a footballer.
I did speak to Ant Finch before I started the programme and he was really helpful.
I am currently learning nutrition for animals and about veterinary. We are going to be moving onto marine life for the next module.
The tutors have been really amazing, especially Tom. He does a lot of work with us and he is really supportive of our lessons. We have to do work experience and this is really good as it is something we can put on our CV which will help when getting a job in this career.
I would recommend this programme to other students as it is very hands-on and this is something that helps you to understand the work we are learning.
I chose this College as the location was easy for me to get to.
I am going to speak to student support regarding The Prince’s Trust as I want to ideally set up my own pet shop once I leave.
