We’re currently learning about programming languages, the difference between them and how they’re developed. We’re also learning how to create our own game using the 3D platform.
My favourite bit is programming as you can use your own imagination and create what you want with it and learning all the different languages helps with different things that I want to do.
I chose MidKent College as it seemed like a very diverse place, it was very open, lots of people with the same interest – they’ve got something for everyone here.
I’ve had work experience with the RSPCA helping them with their website and I also get to work with the animals so I love it.
My tutors have helped us go through all the different career paths you can take after studying this course. They’ve helped us prepare loads for the exams which we’re taking in January. After this course I would like to get a degree apprenticeship to be a technician. I did engineering for the past two years here as well so even just mechanical or computer engineering would be really interesting – maybe even combining the subjects.
