Adam is a L3 Maintenance and operations engineering technician apprentice working for Bridges Ltd, a family engineering company specialising in the water industry in Allington near Maidstone.

His manager, James Wotton said: "Adam has gained significant experience and knowledge and his attitude has always been exemplary.

Being one of only two mechanical employees in the East Region, he has seen at least four changes of supervisor. His knowledge and skill set now exceeds that of some supervisors and, in fact, he has taken the lead on some jobs. Adam is in his final year of his college course during which he has shown exceptional commitment and determination."

For MidKent College, David Girt, said: “Adam’s previous apprentice trainer spoke highly of him and on subsequently meeting Adam in the workplace and looking at his ongoing portfolio work I agree! His job write ups are exemplary with lots of information included. Adam is progressing well in his apprenticeship.”

Adam said: “I have been with Bridges Ltd for 6 years now and every week I learn something new from the varied work we undertake. The main companies Bridges covers through my Maidstone office are Thames Water and Southern Water. As part of my role, I install new infrastructure and upgrade existing process equipment if it is old or broken. I cover both sewage and clean water sites across Kent and London. Each job can vary dramatically from a small week-long install to a year or more long project involving multiple contractors.”

Congratulations Adam.
