Clarice is studying for a Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship at MidKent College. She was nominated by MidKent College senior apprentice trainer, Steven Elks, for the impact that she has made at her company, Moove Lubricants, during her Apprenticeship.
He said: ‘Clarice has implemented a procedural improvement that has saved her company approximately £16,000 as she has put in place a new process for ordering PPE. She has used this for the presentation element for her upcoming End Point Assessment on her Apprenticeship and in addition, has produced a very strong portfolio of evidence for the interview element. She is striving to achieve a distinction grade at Level 3.
From her employer, Moove Europe, lan Lowe, said: ‘Clarice has now completed her project, communicated the new process and built a robust infrastructure to support it. This has enabled her to grow in her job role and take on even more responsibilities. Clarice is excelling, always punctual and reliable and open to adopting new tasks and finding solutions. She has significantly developed her communication and leadership skills which has increased her confidence.
“Alongside this personal and professional growth, she has excelled by leading training sessions for all Warehouse Staff on Health and Safety, managing the enrolment of all Manufacturing staff on Moove’s new time and attendance system, managing the site wide communication of new initiatives (Communication Champion) and mentoring other apprentices
“She has been nominated for and received two awards. She received Highly Commended in the Make UK Awards Rising Star Category for her project implementation at Moove (an external award) and a Manager’s SPOT award for her work on the Time and Attendance system (an internal award).
Clarice says: “I feel very honoured for being nominated for Apprentice of the month. It’s made me happy that I have been recognised for the work I have done and how hard I have worked.
“The best part about working for Moove Lubricants is all the support and help I have. I have good relationships with people within my team (Supervisors/Manager). This makes every day easier for me as I know I will get the support I need. I love that I will have a career here and they are willing to help me achieve what I want.
