This month our Apprentice of the Month is Flynn Fitzgibbon who started at MidKent College as a new Carpentry & Joinery apprentice in January.
He has been nominated by his Funtional Skills Lecturer, Sally Jordan, who said,
"Flynn has recently attended a Functional Skills English Level 2 course. On arrival Flynn was under confident and somewhat apprehensive about the English course. He was one of many young learners, who due to Covid 19, had missed out on being in school for over a year and was not able to sit his GCSEs. The Functional Skills exams were in fact the first time Flynn has sat a live formal exam!
Throughout this course, Flynn’s conscientious attitude has never faltered. He undertook additional tasks at home and his hard work is undoubtedly reflected in his results."
Flynn passed all 3 modules in Writing, Reading and Speaking and Listening.
Well done Flynn!
