Bradley is completing his Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician apprenticeship at our Maidstone Campus. He is putting the skills he learns at College into practice with his employer Homebase Autos. Find out more from his tutor and training officer.
Lecturer David Franklin said “Bradley has proven himself to be a very resourceful and intelligent young man, and has completed all of his tasks early this year. He is always keen to be involved and help fellow students who may be struggling.
He has continually given excellent examples of real-life workshop tasks and how he has resolved the issues. I have no doubt Bradley will excel in his career as a vehicle technician.”
Bradley said “I feel honoured to be working with a team and company that value the work that I do. That is why for me “apprentice of the month” says more about the team that I work with rather than myself as it is my colleagues that have brought me in to the team and showed me the ropes of being in a small business and how things are run. Being recognised for apprentice of the month therefore feels like a great way to show everyone at Homebase Autos that I appreciate all of their help and guidance.
Working for Homebase Autos has been my best workplace experience to date. It is a welcoming and supportive environment to work in, with friendly and encouraging staff. It has given me so many opportunities to further my career in the motor trade and I look forward to carrying this on.""
His employer said “Bradley is a very good mechanic and is very good at working on vehicles independently.”
Well done Bradley – and good luck in your future career!
