I’ve already been to an open day—why should I come again?
Your first visit might have been a whirlwind of new information! A second open day gives you the chance to take a closer look at courses, ask more detailed questions, and feel even more confident about your next steps.
What if I’m still unsure about which course to choose?
That’s exactly why you should come back! Speaking to tutors again, checking out different subject areas, and hearing from current students could help you decide which course is right for you. You'll also be able to chat with our friendly impartial Careers Advisers who can discuss all the options with you.
Can I bring my parents or a friend?
Absolutely! Bringing someone along can help you see things from a new perspective. Plus, they might think of questions you hadn’t considered.
It's too late to apply now though isn't it?
No definitely not, we still have availbility across a wide variety of programmes, however it's best not to leave it too long to apply. Some programmes can get over-subscribed and you could be put onto a waiting list.
What if I missed something important last time?
With so much to take in, it’s easy to overlook key details. A second visit gives you a chance to explore student finance, support services, and if you didn't apply last time, we can help you get your application submitted.
Will you still be offering talks at the open day?
Yes, you'll have another chance to attend our popular talks if you missed these last time. We're offering talks from our Careers Team about life at College and with our Apprenticeships Team.
I’ve already applied—should I still come?
Yes! Even if you’ve applied, coming back can help you feel more prepared and excited for September. You’ll also get another chance to meet your future tutors, ask any questions you forgot last time or speak with our Admissions Team about the next steps with your application, such as enrolment, your predicted GCSE grades or worries about your course choice.
