Working with local employers and helping local businesses to thrive and grow is one of the things that we are incredibly proud of at MidKent College. College Director Chris has been instrumental in this relationship.
We've spent years building positive relationships with businesses to ensure that the courses we offer equip students with the skills that companies need to grow, that our students develop the attitudes and behaviours that employers are looking for, and to gain the best industry placement opportunities for our students so that they can put their learning into practice.
One of the things that's helped us to do this over the years is a really strong relationship with Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce - Kent's leading business support organisation with a broad membership covering most business sectors.
In March 2022 our Executive Director Chris Hare became Chair of the Chamber and will lead the Chamber's board of directors for the next two years. Chris is aiming to use his time as Chair to help Kent strengthen ties between business and educators to boost productivity in the County.
