Huge congratulations to Level 3 Graphic Design students Oskar Rdzak and Harry Constable, who are celebrating their work being selected for the UAL Origins Creative exhibition this summer!
Origins Creatives is organised by UAL Awarding Body and provides art lovers, critics and industry professionals from the creative sector the chance to discover original creative talent from across the UK and celebrate students’ creativity and hard work.
The free exhibition showcases work from some of the UK’s most talented students in FE institutions studying across the UAL subject areas of Art and Design, Fashion, Business and Retail, Creative Media, Music Performance and Production and Performing Arts. The exhibition will be held in-person at The Truman Brewery in Shoreditch and is open to the public from the 21 – 23 July, alongside an online showcase.
Their tutor, Babs Jossi said, “It’s fantastic that for the second year running, MidKent College has students exhibiting at this very prestigious event. Oskar and Harry have worked incredibly hard throughout their time on their Graphic Design programme and I’m so proud to see them getting the recognition they deserve for their efforts.”
Explaining more about the work that was selected, she told us, “Oskar’s designs are a range of illustrations, surface graphics and packaging that were inspired by ethnic folk stories from around the world as part of his final major project.
"Harry designed and produced a handmade zine (and merchandise) that explored communication and typography, and again was produced for his final major project."
Well done to both Harry and Oskar, we're really excited to see their work in the exhibition!
