Students from across all areas of the College came together today to commemorate the fallen on Remembrance Day with parades and poems. We would like to thank those who attended to pay their respects.

Public Services students led College staff and students in a two-minute silence, with petals falling to the ground at the Medway Campus to represent the fallen. Foundation Education and ESOL students have been fundraising for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in ASDA and the College.

Head of Department Mark Lampard said “Our Public Services students at both campuses lead the parade to honour all those servicemen and women who have fought for United Kingdom and Commonwealth.

It is so important that each year we continue to educate our young people to honour those who have fallen to secure our freedom.

This is a real poignant moment for the College to come together as one, and pay our respects to those who have served for our country.”
