Course Description

The Higher National Diploma (Top-up) is a top-up stage of the 120 credit Higher National Certificate in Construction. This qualification is required to gain entry to the BSc (Hons) in Construction.

This stage requires 120 credits (eight modules) to be attained. Specific required modules and options for each student will be agreed by the programme director.

The modules are internally assessed using a variety of methods and styles as appropriate to each module. Assessment methods include assignments, research projects, problem-solving case studies, practical tasks, group work, oral presentations, timeconstrained assignments and formal examinations.
